"I/We would like to acknowledge that we are in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaw people. The Treaties of Peace and Friendship cover this territory.”

  • Gr. 9-12 students interested in a leadership conference called NSSSA should come to Mrs. Cummunigers room (116) today at lunch. All new members welcome!
  • Any Sr. high students interested in being a lunch monitor, please see Mrs. Levy in the office.
  • October is Mi'kmaw History Month!  This year the theme is Mi’kmaw Sports, Traditional Games and Pastimes.

  • In 1986, the then Grand Chief Donald Marshall Sr. proclaimed every October 1st as Treaty Day. It commemorates the key role of treaties in the relationship between the Nova Scotia Mi’kmaq and the Crown.  By celebrating Treaty Day, we are giving thanks to the Mi’kmaw and the Crown for signing treaties of peace and friendship.  We are all Treaty People.
